IV Therapy FAQs

Intravenous (IV) vitamin therapy is a safe and effective method for delivering vitamins and minerals directly to your bloodstream.  This method bypasses the digestive tract which allows for 100% absorption of all nutrients, making them immediately available for cellular use.

For best results, we recommend consuming plenty of water (at least 1-2 16 oz bottles of water) and having a bite to eat prior to IV treatment. For optimum results, continue to consume water after treatment for detox purposes.

All of our services are administered by either a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, a licensed Registered Nurse, or a Paramedic. All medical professionals performing IV placement operate under safe and sanitary protocols approved by the medical director.

Thrive Hydration Wellness performs IV therapy on clients between the ages of ages 18-65. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis however for patients above 65. Contact us for
specific inquiries.

We use only skilled professionals for IV placement and our goal is to ensure the least amount of pain is felt, if any at all. Occasionally, our clients might report cooling of their arm or a warm sensation as nutrients enter their bloodstream. These are normal non-medically concerning sensations. Once the IV is in place only a very small, plastic catheter will be left in the vein.

Some of the treatments are a quick fix and are only needed when the ailment is present, ie: migraine, hangover. We suggest speaking to the licensed professional on site for what would best suit your needs.

It depends on each individual’s needs and treatment. Everyone is unique, so it is difficult to know exactly how long you’ll feel the effects of treatment. In general, however, you may experience an elevation in mood, concentration, and energy for three or four days after treatment. This may depend on your body’s metabolism, age, lifestyle and overall health.
There are a few medications that can interact with IV therapy.  One of our nurses on staff will conduct a thorough client history to ensure the drip of your choice is not only safe for you but effective, and does not interact with your current medication regimen.
Medical consent forms ands short health history questionnaire will need to be filled out prior to your service as well as a COVID-19 waiver for each appointment

Jet Plasma FAQs

Jet Plasma is a handheld plasma device that uses a cooler atmospheric temperature that penetrates 13,000 volts of plasma through the epidermis, into the dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin stimulating high levels of collagen and remodeling the cellular structure from the inside out.

Jet Plasma is the most advanced Plasma technology used to brighten and tighten skin, shrink pores and promote high levels of collagen regeneration. One single Jet plasma treatment increases skin density by 14.8% and generates high levels of collagen.

Jet Plasma skin regeneration is used to rejuvenate skin by improving facial lines and wrinkles and skin pigmentation associated with photoaging. It is best performed during the early signs of aging.

Jet Plasma may also assist with:

  • Tightening & Lifting Sagging Skin
  • Creasing or wrinkling around the nose and mouth

  • Eczema, Psoriasis & Rosacea
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Aging and Damaged skin
  • Skin Laxity
  • Collagen remodeling

It is safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types.

When combined with quality skin care products such as Neogenesis, immediately after a treatment, jet plasma allows the topical products to be deeply absorbed into the skin.

Fitzpatrick skin types (or phototypes) simply refer to a scale of skin tones used to classify skin coloring and response to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It is NOT a race classification. It is intended for use in determining the amount of UV therapy a patient can have in skin treatments.
  1. Kills the germs and bacteria by breaking the bacterial molecular structure
  2. Dramatically increases the skin absorption rate by temporarily breaking the cell adhesion molecules(CAMs)
  3. Tightens the aged skin by balancing the membrane potential
  4. Stimulates the generation of collagen and fibroblasts by stimulating the circulation of water molecules
Because Jet Plasma uses a cooler frequency, there is no trauma to the outer layers of the skin. Jet Plasma is completely pain free, quick, no needles, and requires no numbing. Your first three Jet Plasma treatments must be completed within 2 weeks. This is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED so you get the very best results. After those three treatments, your appointments can be scheduled one week apart however, the closer together you can have the treatments done, the better. Treatments can be scheduled 48 hours apart due to ZERO DOWNTIME!
One treatment of the face takes about 15-20 minutes, and you may see immediate improvement with one treatment, however, like all collagen stimulating treatments, the collagen takes time to regenerate and final results are seen around 6-8 weeks.
Results last 3-5 years with proper skincare and sunscreen, but of course longevity of results, like with anything, depends on age, health, lifestyle factors, sun exposure, etc.
In preparation for your appointment, please come to your session with a clean face. You should not have lotions, oils, makeup, etc. on your skin. LED Light Therapy FAQs

Low-level-light therapy or photobiomodulation is based on Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology and is the application of light energy to the body for therapeutic benefits. It promotes a natural photobiochemical reaction similar to the process of plant photosynthesis. The energy delivered by the LEDs has been shown to enhance cellular metabolism, accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells, as well as stimulate the production of collagen — the foundation of healthy, smooth skin. Research has shown that LED light therapy may help smooth skin texture, improve skin firmness and resilience, increase lymphatic system activity, restore skin’s natural cellular activity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial hyperpigmentation. The treatment is for all skin types, and is non-ablative, non-invasive, painless, and requires absolutely no downtime. Patients or clients can return to their normal activity immediately after the treatment.

Based on extensive research, low-level-light therapy devices have been cleared by the FDA, and shown to manage:

  • Mild to moderate acne vulgaris
  • Superficial, benign vascular and pigment lesions
  • Periorbital wrinkles and rhytides
  • Sub-optimal local blood flow and circulation
  • Minor muscle and joint aches
  • Minor muscle and joint pain
  • Pain and stiffness associated with arthritis
  • Minor arthritis or muscle spasms
  • Minor chronic neck and shoulder pain of a musculoskeletal origin
LED devices are considered extremely low risk when used as intended.
No. Light therapy is non-invasive and is painless when used as intended.
Low-level-light therapy is based on light emitting diode (LED) technology developed for NASA-manned space flight experiments. In comparison to lasers, the patented LED technology generates negligible amounts of heat and is not considered a significant risk device.
No. Celluma utilizes a combination of blue, red, and near-infrared (not visible to the naked eye) light emitting diodes (LEDs) only.
Fifteen (15) to Thirty (30) minutes.
Celluma should be in close proximity to the area being treated. Skin should also be free of clothing, makeup, or anything else that may deflect light away from the skin.
Many makeup formulas contain minerals that may deflect light. Clean, freshly washed skin is recommended for best results.
No. You can use Celluma while sitting or lying down. For example, there are two ways to use Celluma when targeting the lower-back region: sitting comfortably in a chair with Celluma curved horizontally around the lower back area, or lying down with the device placed on the lower-back region. The Celluma may also be placed vertically on the spine following the natural curvature of the body. The key benefit of its design is the unique ability to mold its shape to conform to the profile of the body.
The best position is the one that is most comfortable for the client . Depending on the treatment area, you will either be seated or lying comfortably with adequate support. We will never strain or twist your body in order to use the device. Instead, we will mold the device to the desired body part. For arms or legs, Celluma may be wrapped around the body part. Once positioned, you may sit back, relax, watch TV, use your laptop, or take a nap.
It will be positioned as close to your skin as possible, the closer the better. One key advantage to Celluma is its patented flexible design, which allows for close positioning to the skin, and may lead to more effective results.
Yes. You may resume all normal activities immediately following use. However, it is important to remember if it is used in conjunction with Jet Plasma, one cannot apply makeup for 12 hours post treatment.
Celluma should not be used on children under 12, or over the breast or stomach of a breast-feeding or pregnant person.
